🧵 Stitching Details

• Hoop size: 8 inch

• Fabric: cotton or muslin fabric

• Main stitches used: padding stitch, satin stitch, back stitch, whipped back stitch, straight stitch, and French knots

• Suggested transfer method: light box and heat erase pen

For the balloons and black cats, I used wool floss to pad the shapes before stitching over them with satin stitch. This helps build dimension and makes the balloons and cats look plumper and rounder.

I first used three strands of embroidery floss for the satin stitches, then went back in with one strand of the same floss color to fill any gaps between the existing stitches. This helps make the overall shapes smoother and more well-rounded.
